Deciding which header....help me, please!!!
Well, I know of someone here in Raleigh NC who switched from SLP to QTP and lost 4 lbft and 1 hp even with their macdaddy merge collector, so don't believe everything you hear. My buddy has an 01 Formula A4 with a stock motor with slps and all the suspension that runs 11.40's @118=119. You really can't go wrong performance wise with SLP, FLP (his 01 Z 6m made 358 with FLP's and bolt ons), Pacesetter (worth 20-24hp), Hooker, or Grott style. It's really about how much do you want to spend and do you want stainless.
I have SLP LTs as well. The install was long and challenging. However, the fit is outstanding. No pounding, rewiring, or cutting. BTW it was my first, and probably only, headers install. They fit tight, pass emissions, and look great. I'm also happy with the performance. Finally, eveything I've purchased from SLP arrives quickly, comes with detailed instructions, and all the parts. SLP, IMO, gets an enormous amount of unwarranted critizism.
