Default QTP Headers installed

Just finished installing my 1.75", QTP long tubes, I got the stainless, regular collector "Race" Style. They are beautiful headers, and the best part is the ease of install

Jacked up car to attain around 20" of clearance.

Passenger Side: I DID NOT Remove the starter, DID NOT GRIND anything off of the block. The header went right in without touching hardly anything.

Driver side: I removed Oil Filter and the 4 bolts holding the motor mount tower to the K-Member(these were cake to get out)...Jacked up engine like 4" and it went right in.

It is more of a pain to Wax my car than it was to put these headers in, I am very pleased with my QTP Headers. Also they were on my doorstep 3 days after I ordered them.

Wher did you get them from and how did they hook up to the stock cats?

Right on! I thought the same about my QTP's and the install. On the driver side, I removed the oil filter also, but didn't have to unbolt the motor mount since I cut the aluminum tab off the engine block. I think this is a case of either/or. Mine were on the doorstep promptly as well. These are some damn nice headers!

I got mine directly from QTP, they're one of the sponsors on the right >>>>>>>>>>. It was on a group purchase deal, so I saved $50. They have standard 3 inch collectors, so they're not going to hook up to the stock cats. But if you have access to a MIG welder and chop saw, you could easily modify the stock cats to work with the QTP's; I may do that before my next emissions test.

I got mine direct as well, If you had to it would be possible to hook them up to the Stock Y pipe/cats with some fabrication. I have a chopsaw and welder, so I'm gonna build a x-pipe setup for mine.

Cheers,
Aaron
