Default ported/polished/powerder coated throttle body ?'s

ok here is the deal, i wanna get a throttle body thats ported and polished on the inside and powerdercoated black on the outside. and ideas where to get this done or to buy one at?

i believe Jantzers TB's are still on sale for $130, ported and powdercoated
you might wanna send him an email about that

If you're worried about price, you can port it yourself and then give it a nice coat of engine paint. There's a lot of information on this board and at how-to web sites on how to do it; doesn't take any special tools either.

I'm confused. Didn't you post a day after you started this thread that you ported your own TB and had problems? Is this another TB?

Anyway, you could either have yours ported and powdercoated by the sponsors mentioned, or have another unreworked core ported. Almost anything can be fixed if necessary.

Bauer did mine. Shiny black looks good, as does "chassis" black which is semigloss.

yes i did, i decided to just port it myseld, i didnt have a problem i talked to the guy at bauer and he said thats common when you port a tb, WOT will read richer and the fuel trims will read they are putting more gas into the car......took me about 3 hours to get it all done and i like it, just didnt have the money right now to send one out...

Very good! Did you fill in the holes with JB weld, or just take the bump out and polish it?

just took that little lip out and polished it for now. ill take some pics and put them up. i think i did a pretty good job from my first time lol if i can do it anyone else can and im 19 so i dont have much experience. gonna do my friends tomorrow might take some pics of that......might have to start up mikes tb porting polishing and painting and charge 50 bucks haha

You should defiantly check out both Jantzer and Bauer's sites--> I think both TB's will net you close to the same gain, not sure on the price. Good Luck man
