Loudest Muffler?
Loudest Muffler? Well right now I have a flowmaster which I'm starting to think was a bad idea from what I hear on here so thinking on replacing it, I want the loudest muffler I can get that wont lose me power like my flowmaster, I just have stock manifolds right now but plan on headers in the future, thanks for the opinions in advance!
Do you like the sound/tone of the flowmaster though? I would get a cutout like others mentioned.

I think LM1 is the loudest. If you want louder get headers and y. Not necessary with the LM1. I have obx headers and y wiith LM2 and like the sound. Dont know if its loud enough for you.

I have a loudmouth 1 with headers, ORY, and a big cammed 6.0. It's too damn loud if you ask me, I like it but it's really an inconvenience around cops. I'd rather have something quieter with a cutout now, but back when I still had cats, manifolds, and a stock cam the car had the perfect level of sound for me. Seriously at this point my wife can hear me coming home about a 1/4 mile away, if I get on it she can hear it about a 1/2 mile away, and knows it's me. I'm not talking about out in the country either, I live in an apartment complex right off of a main road. She has enough time to walk outside and open the garage for me and walk back in the house, lol.

I have LM1 with Jet Hot LT's and Catted Y. It's pretty loud, but not unbearable. I don't have a bigger cam yet, so I may change my opinion of it when it comes time for that upgrade, but for now I like it. It's definitely not as bad as some make it out to be. my trans am i jsut sold with slp long tubes slp hi flow cats and loud mouth 1 was the loudest damn 4th gen. in michigan with cats on it, maybe even counting ones without cats! hands down!
If you enjoy the sound of your exhaust more than listening to the radio, then the Loudmouth and headers are definitely the exhaust for you. If you want something that is loud at WOT but quiet enough that you can hear the passenger screaming, then the Magnaflow CB may be a better option.
loud? Me too! In years past on Power tour there were several loud *** LS1 cars and it was really annoying this year I only heard one that was annoying - I hate loud cars guess I'm just too old. do you really need the attention?

I have Hookers, ORY, and LM1 - I don't like it to be honest. It sounds mean as **** from the stands at the track, but driving it around its really raspy. I'm afraid to ever get on it since the cops around here are asshats.

i have to say ever since i put 10.5:1 pistons and a bigger cam the magnaflows catback sound awsome i have 3 1/2 inch all the wayback with headers and a long tube y pipe and u cam hear it comin it just has a around sound
Well seems like the slp lm1 would be perfect, I live in a country area and our nearby town is only small, people and cops are pretty easy going we never get loud car complaints lol
