Default ported fast vs unported fast any rwhp difference?

i have searched this. i have a fast 92 on a 408 build and was wondering was it worth it to port it ? tks

Don't have any numbers to support my answer, but I would say go for it on a bigger cubed motor like what you are building.

Probably depend on who ports it but you should definitely be able to pick up some more hp.

def worth it and it wll pull a few hundred more RPMs before leveling or falling off out also

I dont have a comparison but vengeance ports fast manifolds and they have some MEAN *** set ups come out of their shop.

Its worth 5-10hp on a stock cube LS1, I would guess its more for a 408ci..like 10-15?? I'm really guessing here, no solid proof. For me its really worth it on my setup I think. I'm sure I would've done around 10rwhp instead of 17rwhp for my ported FAST gains.

It also depends on what heads you plan on using also. If you are looking for a really good pricey set of heads, a ported FAST would be in your best interest. But I agree with Johnnystock though.

A regular FAST 92 will do you good unless you have those 225s ported on top of it. Porting can't hurt, but power for the $....
I say go for it, but are you willing to spend a couple hundred bucks for a less than 20whp in most cases? Your choice really
