which headers should i get??? Ok so im on the market for headers. I just want some opinions on what would be best.
First how much difference is there between 300 flowtech longtubes and 900 slp longtubes.
Second what would be the best choice if im looking for low to mid range power.

Dude, excellent question. I was going to post something similar. I currently have SLP LTs. One big drawback is price and clearance. If you are lowered, you will scrape everywhere ... I do. My tuner/mechanic has told me if I would get just even pacesetters, I could see ~10rwhp gain from the SLPs plus get lots better clearance.
i love my hookers. no complaints. pacesetters are also good. i see no need to buy $900 headers. i don't believe they'd make any more than 5 or so more horsepower more so i'd much rather save my other $600 and use it to make up the difference. as far as quality goes, i'm thrilled with mine. installed hookers on 2 cars, no problems, great fit. i refuse to spend 3x more for any given part in fear of the 1 in 1000 chance i'll get a crappy set.

while pacesetters are a great bang for the buck deal if your gonna keep the car go with a quality stainless steel headers. the money you pay for kooks is well worth it. the fitment is second to none
Ill say BBK because i have them and i really like them. Great ground clearance with there ory pipe as well. I didnt have any problems installing them at all. $499 shipped for LT's & ORY pipe sounds good to me.

I have no experience with Pacesetter's but i highly doubt there any better in performance/quality then my BBK longtubes. Ive had mine for about 6 months now and there still looking good. BBK's were also made on a lowered trans am, so ground clearance is no issue with these.

my experience with ceramic coat is that that it wear after a year or so and goes to crap. I went with the LPP LTs and ORY. In my opinion they are the best bang for the buck. They are 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8, stainless steel, have a high velocity merge collector and a merge spike, easy install, great fitment(no banging or cutting)...all of this for about 650 shipped

I would go for something stainless like ARH. Sure, they're expensive, but they also have great ground clearance. If you get something that is stainless, you'll never have to worry about replacing them again. Sound investment.
