Default no turndowns to reduce drone?

sorry if this is a dumb question.....

Im going to be putting pacesetter LT's with a stainless true dual system. Instead of having turndowns before the axle, could you reduce drone by just not having turndowns?? and having the pipe just stay straight at the end?? just like when you run it out the back?

Not turning the pipes down will help a little, but I think you will still have a little drone since the sound is still under the car. And yes you can still run duals on a lowered car. If it is done right.

On my duals I've had them dumped straight down, outward 45 degrees and now with no turn downs at all. Had lots of drone with them straight down, got a little better at 45 degrees out, and it's completely gone now with no turn downs. Just my experience.

I would have a couple of turndowns fabbed up that can slip on with clamps and set it up turned straight down first, then angled, then off and see which one you like best. If you like it better with them on once you find the right angle then just have them welded up.
