Default Which TB for LS6?

I've been debating between the ported stocker or getting a BBK 80mm TB to go with the LS6 intake manifold. Which one would show the best results? This will be on a bolt on car, full intake/exhaust.

Thanks.

When porting the stocker, what do they usualy port the opening to? Im assuming 80mm to match the LS6 stock opening, or is that 78mm?

I think there is a write up on installuniversity.com for this, if you can't find it there search around for a write up on here. there have been quite a few over the years.

Stay with the stocker and do it yourself or buy one used for 75 or so.

Seems to be the best deal. I might have to go to the local yard and see if I can grab one and get it send out for porting. Hard to find LS1's around here as it is, let alone a junk yard

I know that with the stocker it has those lil wires and some sort of sensors inside of it, does this get removed after the porting gets done?

I think you are talking about the Mass Air Flow sensor or (MAF) THere are no wires inside of a throttle body. There are sensors on the outside and a butterfly inside of it.

So who would do the best job of porting it to match the LS6 intake manifold?
