LS6 intake: install now or wait
thanks in advance.
1. It's a simple swap (except watch the oil pressure sending unit as another poster pointed out)
2. It does not require really any work that would have to be redone to do the header swap, so this is not a case of creating extra work by doing them separate.
Once you have done LT's and LS6 manifold, make sure you tune the PCM or at least check A/F to make sure it's OK. I did a bunch of bolt-ons to my '99 Z28 and A/F was 15:1 at WOT afterwards. I knew it was going to be off, so I hadn't been beating on the car. I went and dyno tuned the PCM with wideband promptly after completing the mods.

and you wont have to mess with the egr in the exhaust manifold, but to each their own.

Perfect! Thanks
I've always been a fan of working on the car once, doing it right the first time and make sure you have everything there waiting to be installed before you start.
That's just me, why work on your car twice when you can do it just once?
Plus I'd rather see the gain from both Ls6 and headers at the same time, thats gotta be anywhere from 20-40wheel hp combined and get a tune aftewards too!
