Hey someone told me there was a thread on here somewhere just for free mods. Im buying my stock 2000 ss tomorrow morning and I heard to descreen the maf, and a few other things. Just seeing if you guys knew where it was?

hmm i just read that article...the MAF screen seems like the only one ide actually do. i'm not too thrilled about taking a dremel to my cars intake/egr/tb

The MAF de-screen is the only mod I WOULD NOT DO!!(Do a search for it) Most people toss the EGR anyway. Porting the throttle body is cake; and it obviously flows better after you remove the ridges. TB Bypass is a no brainer... its useless unless you live in Antartica. And cutting the air box will lead to much more air flow, and as long as you don't drive through a lake you will be fine.

I did all of these a couple weeks after having my car and have no issuses whatsoever. (And it has been raining HARD where I live lately) Combine them with a lid and you've added a solid 15 horses to the wheels.
