I'll have to say Kooks. I have their Headers and Cat'ed y-pipe. The fitment is perfect, the ground clearence is amazing, they tuck up nicely unlike may LT's on the market. The install took 6 hrs and that included the installation of a SLP LM with it. The craftmanship and service is outstanding...I got mine overnight...

Good luck with your descion...

Thanks, I was really impressed with the results, some friends from DFW area came down to do the install. Im not sure if they are members of this board, but they are on LS1.com if you have any questions for them...(Lucky_Topher) (RedDevil)... No welding done, the y-pipe is 3".

3rd pic down is the setup, notice the small cats. The NBM SS is mine =)

Kooks are truly badass Quality is excellent. Yes, the price is up there, but....." You get what you pay for. "

I've been really impressed with the TTS LT's. I've been running them for about a year now and they have done wonders for my car. I'll be dropping my catted y-pipe for a custom offroad y when I switch catbacks and I can't wait to see the gains. There are cheaper LT's out there but I feel the TTS's were money well spent.

You can get Kooks at a number of places - directly from Kooks, TEA, TT, and more performance just to name a few.

Thers a deal going for QTP's from QTP and a GP on KOOKS through TTP, so you better act/decide fast.

You will not go wrong with either one

Why are you going to go coated, if you don't mind me asking. It takes longer to get as well. The stainless will never rust, where as the coated could chip off and rust. JMO good luck.

The zl1 cars have TTS, but instead of 1-3/4", they are special made 1-7/8" headers. But I think they are the same cats with a special 3" y-pipe made and 4" exhaust that leads to a 4" electronic cutout and/or gmmg chambered exhaust.

Mine is 1-3/4" TTS headers with there 2-1/2" y (all standard TTS stuff) and gmmg cat back to a cme tips.

I love em and would trade them for any other header.

TTS

Sorry meant UNCOATED. Any one have kooks header and QTP Y-pipe, how did it work.I live in a small town and don't have good acess to a muffler shop,so a bolt up system is what i need. Even if i have to go with a kook header and Y-pipe. I want the QTP Y-pipe.I want to keep my CME, and use a cutout.

i just ordered kooks, to replace my FLP's. i tried installing them on saturday at work w/ a lift (tech at a pontiac dealer) and the headers themselves are nice, but they're y-pipe won't fit my car! on the driver's side of the car where the cat slips on the collector, the cat and the y-pipe right after the cat hit the floor where that little "bump" is, where the fuel lines run up into the engine bay. i'm gonna call kooks, tomorrow to see what they said. plus, do you need a reaaly long o2 extension on the driver's side to get the sensor to reach? i already have an extension on that side and it still doesn't reach. any idea's???
