i got a couple hundred dollars to spend on my car and have two mods in mind.

1. asp underdrive pulley
2. fasttoys ram air kit

i will probably be getting a 160 thermostat with either but was wondering which mod should i do now and which i should wait and get later. i figure the pulley might be more noticeable but the ram air kit would be more simple to install. i would need new belts and crank bolts for the underdrive and i don't have a pulley puller so the pulley would cost more. whats you guys input what i should do first?

the power gains will be much more concrete than an UD pulley and possibly even pedal noticable

You can pick up the summit brand underdrive and GM bolt for under 160.00...AND have enough left over for the FTRA.

I personally have had 2....and their are a couple threads in the external engine section about the pulley. Its very nice for the 150.00,,,,has high sidewalls and the finish has been holding up nicely for 2 years.

Depends on your plans for the car.

If you're planning on doing a cam swap later, do the FTRA now, and the UD pulley later. This is the case since it's a bit of a PITA to do the swap. Might as well only have to do it once.

I would go with the FTRA first simply because it will be easier to install. Like others have mentioned so the pulley when you add a cam.

I would do the FTRA first. My car picked up almost 2 tenths at the track after I added the FTRA.

go for the FTRA or SSRA do the pulley later just have to get the easy stuff first then go for the pulley later. As far as brands the powerbond is really nice.

thanks for all the good responses. i do not have any plans on camming the car which is why i wasn't sure on which mod to do first. i will probably be ordering the ftra here in a few days. ill let you guys know if the ftra was worth it.
