Default So I broke that little plastic thing on the intake...

So there's a little plastic cannister, with plastic lines, that attaches to the fuel line on the drivers side of the intake. I broke the plastic line, I'm sure I could glue it back together, if it's just a vacuum line?

In this picture off of google, you can see the cannister, a line runs from it to the front of the intake. There's also a line on the other side that goes to the fuel line.

Any ideas? What does this part do?

Are you talking about this?

It's part of the evap system, I'd just buy a new one it's only $15 through sdparts.com

GM part number 12573362

If you want to be real cheap I guess rubber fuel line or hose of the correct ID cut to fit could be used in it's place.

I think he mans the valve it attaches to. It's for the fuel tank evaporative system and ok to run with it broken until you pick up a new one at the dealer. It cost me about $15 a few years ago so probably in that neighborhood.
