E3 spark plugs as good as they claim?

UPDATE:
We ended up pulling the E3 test plugs noted earlier in this thread (from 2009). Plugs started missing. There must be an issue w/ materials & longevity.
Also, enough with the "Snake Oil" BS comments. The concept of a spark blowing through a hole so that it is not blocked by the ground strap has been used by racers for half a century or more. That is the real benefit of the design...multiple edges to arc on & an opening in the ground strap(s).

my brother put them in his mopar stage 2 srt-4 and they lasted about 3 and blew appart in his engine. good gas and no aftermarket parts aside the mopar stuff added at the dealership. ill post pictures of them if i can figure it out. id say stay away. if they were as awesome as they claimed they would be in every car rolling off the line.

I've had E3's in my car since i bought it. Got it at 104k and now has 113k on it, pulled plug from cylinder #1 and it looked ok. Will be replacing with NGK's soon though, i'll snap some pics of the E3's and check for any damage. Car has been running fine for the most part.

Can't speak on the E3's other than the fact that I've read on here in the past that people have had issues with them. But, if interested you can get TR55's and MSD wires as a combo from WS6store (sponsor) for like $75, damn good deal and a great replacement for the stockers, people even use them on their more heavily modded cars and they do great.

I believe the TR6's are a plug that have a colder heat range than stock, which really isn't needed on a stock or even bolt-on car like yours. If I were you, I would definitely just stick with the tried and true TR55's, you can't beat that deal you get on them from WS6store

I have a ls3 in my 07 silverado and 2 weeks ago I added the E3 plugs and the horse power is great. From a sit still position I have much better response. I filled up with a tank of 87 and I got 14 more miles on a tank and I just filled up with 93 and I'll relay the data as soon as I see if I gained any

CAFE standards are so hard to meet as is that manufacturers are doing every thing they can to find an extra MPG, and increasing MPG will also lead to more sales, if these plugs were so magical, they would be in everything off the assembly line
And like thunderstruck said, the only improvement they will make is if you are removing a bad plug and putting in one of the E3 plugs. Standard spark plugs have no problem whatsoever getting the job done, so there is no room for improvement.

Here's my personal thing with splitfire and E3 plugs. I pull them out of customer cars all the time that have misfires, then when I put a standard plug in it stops misfiring.
I could make it more technical than that but there's no reason too. That's reason enough for me to never use them.
I also recently bought a boat, it had a misfire, guess what else it had, gimmicky spark plugs. Guess what 2 things it doesn't have now? Gimmicky spark plugs or a misfire.
