Default Meziere WP319 question

I just ordered one of these guys. Not sure, I read the PDF file on the website, but what T-Stat do I use? I have a LS1/LS6 style waterpump and a 160T-stat which is a month old. Is that compatible with this, or does the Meziere pump use LS2/3 T-Stat?

It will come with a 180 thermostat. It's small block style I believe, not LS at all. It relocates it to the inlet instead of the outlet.

correct they ship them with 180 stats....you still have to drill the bypass holes in it though.

i say see how it runs with the 180...you my be pleased with the temp the car runs at.

and a standard SBC 160deg stat can be bought at any parts store for about $10.

i have a 160 in my Mez setup, with the holes drilled. and the car still runs right around 172-175 with a fan switch turned on HI.
so i figure i may be a little above that under highway conditions....which is a good temp for me.

Nice, I have been running warm so I ordered the pump, pull the headers for ceramic coating then wrapping, as well as other things as well.

When you say bypass hoes do you mean for the heater core, or just the holes in the T stat drilled out.

No idea, its less rotational force, but I am going for the increased flowrate to lower temps.
