LQ Swap with LS?

Hello,

I own a 2001 Chevy Tahoe LS. I was told I have a LQ4 5.3 Correct? Now, I was also told that LS Series engine parts will transfer over?

If thats the case then will the rods, pistons, crank and cam change over from a LS1 to a LQ4?

if its a 5.3 no the piston, rods, and crank will not transfer over because the ls1 is a 5.7 motor. if you bore the 5.3 to a 5.7 then everything will fit.

Thanks for the help! Just what I needed to know! Going to cam my 5.3 in the Tahoe soon and may just find another engine and just build the whole thing...
