bosch 13111 = crap
well i bought those damn 02's that are so conterversial and guess what i got a bank 1 sensor 1 p0133 which is a slow response code, so what should i do, the pass. side one is doing fine then the other day i cleared it and it hasnt come back so im confused, im not getting any insufficient switching codes and now it isnt on. I have the stockers which never threw one code, but are preety old, and some brand new casper extensions should i put them back in,the element is bigger and sticks further in on the stock ones.

I reused my stock O2's with extentions when I installed my LT's with 49k miles on the car. The only code I'm getting is PO420 (insufficient catalyst performance bank 1). Which is from the smaller cats in the aftermarket Y-pipe. No troubles with the O2 sensors. In your case I would definitely try reinstalling the originals. It can't hurt and it may solve your problem without costing you a dime. Thats always a plus.

Sometimes they are great, sometimes they are not. Their life is usually short though and I only recommend the GM sensors in performance applications. In alot of daily driver applications the Bosch's are great and I'd run them in my wagon anytime.

I'm looking for some today...was getting codes and misfires. Pulled them last night, and I have AFS 98 in passenger side and AFS 97 in driver. Is there any difference besides the harness length? I've got extensions, so if I bought 2 of the same should it matter? I'm thinking of going with Denso and the 234-0425 is more than $20 cheaper than the 234-0487 for the other side, so I'm considering 2 of the 234-0425's.

I wouldn't put new o2's in with your new longtubes. Sometimes new longtubes can foul o2 sensors. I would re-use your stock GM ones for while to see if anything happens before spending the money on new ones.

My buddy tried Bosch 13111 and it was codes after a couple of months. My stockers worked out for several months after my LT install, then started throwing codes - at first infrequently, and after time, constantly.
I tried Denso and a Bosch universal. The Denso started throwing codes after month and I tried it on both sides. I couldn't get the Bosch universal to work at all. Waste of money.
I finally gave up and tuned my car to run full-time open loop. It has been working well for several months now.
