Who did yours Steve? Do you have an aftermarket upper PHB? I have to deal with this...

The drive shaft and the single 3" is tight back there...I would have to really squeeze it in...not sure of a shop that I trust to do it since the one here won't do it.

I had it done when I was at Eglin - I actually drove to Chicago to have Speed Inc. do it since I didn't have anyone I could trust down there. I did end up going with the BMR upper panhard bar relocation kit to give the fabricator more room to work.

That torque arm would probably present a problem with mine...I have a BMR driveshaft loop that bolts in the same location that fits just fine (the exhaust goes over it), but it isn't nearly as thick as that piece.

At this point, I'd probably only consider a y-pipe setup just to get around that torque arm. You could go baller and go with oval pipe just off of the headers (they make mandrel bends in oval and everything) to get the best clearance possible, but that obviously adds to the cost.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling that your selection of torque arms is going to dictate the exhaust. Kinda sucks with these cars - everything is a compromise to get a decent exhaust stuffed in there.

Here is a 4" catback from mufflex...you can also get a 4" Y-pipe...I emailed them about a custom set-up 4" that Ys into 3" duals just over the axle. Probably won't make as much power as true duals but will be better than my 3" catback. You can even get oval pipe for more ground clearance. I will post up if I get some info from them.

What size piping is that? Looks like a good fit. I hope that whatever I end up with fits that well.

Your rasp is due to headers and no cats, Magnaflow in and of itself is one of the cleaner sounding catbacks.

That's a stout looking torque arm!

I wanted something that would take the power/torque of the 408 and possibly a shot of the juice...
