I installed the LS1 dipstick from my original motor into my LS2 from an 05 C6 Vette. Seems the dipstick does not seat down into the block as far. It fits and bolts to the head ok but I want accurate oil readings. What dipstick should I order? I cant be the first guy to run into this issue with this conversion. Thanks

idk but i figured id give you a bump and a compliment.. Nice car man.. Is it that picture in your signature real or doctored?

 

Looks like 1/8" or so, I surely wouldn't be dwelling on that small an amount. Just wallow out the bolt hole so the "bump" sets flush and call it a day...
