Default Fabbing new y-pipe, have question!

I am making a new y-pipe for my longtubes. I am using the 4 inch Flowmaster merge. What bends will I need to make a new pipe? By looking at the picture fgrom Mufflexs site; it looks like I could possible use four 45' bends and maybe a couple short straight pieces, all 3 inch.

anyone??? I see all these pics of other members fabricating their own y-pipes; what bends are you using? I don't want to buy anything I don't need and I can't see buying a fabricators exhaust kit for $300.00 when all I may need is 4 pieces of pipe.

I think I used 2 3inch U-bends. But I have alot of other bends around, and done this alot before and didnt cut anything wrong.
You will need 3 for yourself.

summit I think.

I got the tight on center ones, and I have one U bend that was big for the 90* bend.
maybe get one of both. make sure you grind off the alumized finish if you have to buy iy. Its REALLLLY bad to breath welding.

I've seen two or three before on here and they all looked pretty good. What is the benefit from fabbing this up. Does it flow noticeable better because of the merge, or is it more for sound of both?
