Default NGK TR5 or TR6???

I just got off the phone with Trick Flow and was told that they would recommend a NGK tr6 for my 370 6.0 iron block with, as cast, 220 heads. The motor is set up for a Procharger but will be run NA for awhile before installing the blower. I thought that for NA the TR5's would be a better choice and then go one step colder (tr6) when using FI. What would be a good gap to start at? What do you guys think?

Tr6 will be fine and you'll want to replace them right before you go to the dyno any way. How much driving are you going to do before the blower goes on?

Why would they need to be replaced before going to the dyno? I'm not really sure how long it will be before the blower is installed but it will probably be awhile.

You always want a fresh set of plugs for the dyno, maybe thats just me. When I put my blower on I sent the computer off for a mail order tune just to drive it for a litle bit before the dyno tune, the mail order tune was pig rich and I was replaceing plugs after 2 pulls on the dyno. Plugs had less than 100 miles on them.

Go TR55 for N/A, then whenever you go with a Procharger pick a more suitable plug.

They are cheap enough to change out a few times..hah Around $13-14 after tax at O'Reillys here.
