bolt on to stock manifolds or headers?

i'd say true duals are the best sounding.

Bassani makes a TD setup for manifolds, and TSP makes duals for most headers (small amount of fab work is needed depending on header collector style).

i have custom 3" true duals all the way out the back with sweet thunder chambered resonators. when i was lt's with no cats it sounded deep and loud and now with manifolds and cats it's deep and mild.

I have a 3" open cutout with stock headers and stock exhaust, its pretty damn loud and deep, I really like how it sounds. Plus this a really cheap way to go, a cutout will cost you like $36 and I had mine installed for $60 at my local exhaust shop, and there you have it loud ***, good sounding exhaust for less than 100$ not bad!

yea i hate that people worship this exhaust...only time i have EVER heard this exahust sound good is on a completely stock vehicle with cats and manifolds...with LT and ORY withs just another Loudmouth IMO

loudest exhaust with the best tone is...well the exhaust with the best tone and thats any kinda TD system....its just not comparable to any cat-back IMO

I've always felt that the borlas are pretty loud and nice. If you use the right plate or what ever you pretty much run no muffler . I have the texas speed 1 7/8 headers and ORY with the borla cat back. I have people telling me it sounds good.
