Default New Saikou Michi Catch Can

Just thought I'd share my new catch can and PCV set up. Saikou Michi has great customer service and a great product. The only complaint I have with them is the paint on the cans was not very sturdy. It scratched and flaked off very easily. So be careful when you go to install yours. I also re-did the PCV holder for the PCV valve 'cuase mine was falling apart.

I got the idea from this link:
http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread...ht=pcv+housing

I didn't get a new PCV valve like he did and I found a better hose to use. I used a 7/8" I.D. garbage disposal rubber hose. It fit much tighter than the 1" I.D. rubber hose.

Look's like a nice setup, I do see where you already scratched some of the paint off. You should wrap that PCV up in some black foam or something like factory. It's kind of ugly sitting there with all the hose clamps on it.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Even if the second catch can is over kill it's nice to not have to worry about this thing anymore. There's nothing wrong with taking extra precautions. I'm thinking about spraying throttle body cleaner into the intake now to try and clean some of the gunk off. I have no desire to pull the intake off again so I thought that might be a good alternative.

Default catch can

Mounted mine underneath due to lack of room from the SC.

I've been running and recommending the dual can configuration for 5 years on my Z06. They work.
