Got them back from the coaters. I got the LO-KO SUPERKOTE which is a metalic-ceramic coating. Its only rated to 1400F degrees, but it should be plenty for my application. My buddy has the same coating on his turbo cars hot side and its still perfect almost 2 years later.
The main reason for the coating was just to keep underhood temps a down a little and make it a little easier changing sparkplugs at the track.

That coating looks real nice, almost looks polished. Here is a picture of the 2" polished.
If your pictures were taken in the sun it would look even better. What was the cost to get them coated?

Jimmy, Use the clamps supplied. They will not leak. These are the same clamps used by the OEM including all Corvettes from 2005 and up. Even the ZR1 uses these clamps to seal the system. The only thing that could be an issue is if the coating tightened up the clearances where the system slips together. If it's really tough going in, it'll be tough coming out. Some high temp anti seize may be a good idea.
