ok, radiator question here Im in need of a smaller yet efficient radiator, but i have no idea how to size a radiator properly, my first guess would be to find out what the volume of my stocker one is and find one that carries the same volume but in a shorter and and not as wide "frame". is this good thinking or am i an idiot?
Well your looking something that is physically impossible I think. Performance radiator use a double row of tubes which makes them thicker. Your looking to go thinner.

im sorry, i can see how that was misleading, using LENGTHxWIDTHxDEPTH, i need one that is shorter in both length and width, i can use one wider. but it needs to be shorter in both length and width. so would finding one that is shorter in both ways but carries the same volume due to the thickness work?
its a factory raditor in my 2004 gto. 5.7 litre. but will soon be turbo charged. so what ever it takes i guess. and ill measure one up tonight and see what i need. also. when it comes to transmission coolers, how do i know how big to go then, obviously, the bigger the better, but just wondering.
I don't know what the GTOs have, but the F-body radiator is too
small (skinny core) for the motor in my book. Putting an intercooler
in front of it will only hurt more. Ditto the trans cooler.
