Where a Z06 makes the power is in the heads, not necessarily the manifolds. Don't waste your time IMO. Just curious...why are you opposed to headers? There may be a good setup out there that will give you a decent bump in power without much headache.

From what I've been told, the 2001 & 2002 F-body manifolds flow just as well as the ZO6's.

Jabroni: I guess im not opposed to headers: leaking, scraping, thumping, knuckle busters, tight fittin, take the car apart to put them in, things that they are. "BUT" I want some! who has the best and where can I get them? Thanks

If you are asking if you should go with the LT(long tube) headers, yes, IMO I wouldnt spend my money on any other type. There are many to choose from, Kooks, QTP, Hooker, Pacesetter and many more. You should check out the sponsors for products. I dont think you can go wrong with LT's. Good Luck man

I think that this guy just called your rims ugly JRP. At least that is what I got out of it. Because I saw the hood in your pic and looked straight at your rims after and was like WTF? You need some new ones buddy. Thats the only thing holding your car back.

I'm using the headers now known as the QTP longtubes. They are a great header and no clearance issues at all. A little $$$, yes, but worth the money in every way. Stay with a 1 3/4" header and you'll love it. Install isn't too bad without a lift. The front of the car has to come up about 36" off the ground though! That was nerve-racking.
