thanks for all the feedback guys, i got the day off tommorow so i will be swapping plugs with TR55's....

replaced plugs with ngk tr55's and the misfiring is still there...I did find though that one of the spark plugs was cracked? wich wasnt there when i installed them...I am getting really frustrated and am considering taking it to a shop. anyone know what couldve happened? why its still misfiring????

pull the plug wires from the coils and reseat them, it cant hurt and it wont cost anything.
make sure your plug wires click twice when pushing them into the coils, make sure they click once when pushing them onto the spark plug.

Fixed it!!! it was'nt the plugs, wires coil packs or even the rods or crankshaft...It was the installation of the plugs. What happened was when my friend and i installed the plugs we over tightened cyl 1's plug, wich threaded the area where the plug meets the head. so then i had it re-threaded and voila! misfires gone.

I am assuming they just went back through the install, retracing their steps. Happy it was an easy fix!!

thats exactly it, we went over our installation process and changed coil packs to find out wich cylinder was misfiring, from there we narrowed it down to cyl 1 and fixed the problem.
