Default Should I get an X pipe?

So i got this exhaust about a year ago and i love the way it sounds. i did an h pipe cuz i thought the shop could make me a decent one, but it looks like **** and i have a feeling it also hurts me a bit.
my question is would i benefit at all if i replaced that h pipe with a magnaflow x pipe? here is a pic(sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, but u get the point):

you will get a lil more hp, but you will also get that cool x pipe sound on deceleration

I had a resonator on my GTO and went to X-pipe-

I preferred the resonator and would go back if I could for free. if you have straight pipes, it will get much louder and there is an rpm range where the xpipe is obnoxious.
