Whats best way to clean Intake Manifold off car?

Just want to make sure before I go hosing my ls1 intake with Brake cleaner it is safe on the composite material.. It is full of oil from the crappy PCV. Thanks

i used degreaser, but i dont think brake cleaner will be too harsh as long you dont let it bake on

Lots of carb and choke cleaner and some long soft brushes
