corsa with resonaters or bullets come in got a 414 with a big cam, longs tubes (ebay headers) ORY and corsa and i have the usual compalint, its a little much. i love the sound but i cant go up an on ramp without a cop getting behind me, was wondering how you guys did the bullets and resonaters, pics would be great i checked out ls1sounds and it seems to really tame it down so im interested in how its been done

Just put a glasspack or resonator in there, it will help a lot with the high pitched sounds. I currently have a cammed LQ9 with cats, and cherry bombs, it is no where near that loud. What is done to that thing!?

its a lq9 based 414 with a big cam and no cats full 3 inch all out and a corsa (which we all know is a metal box with some baffles in it) sounds great but i want that rasp and high pitched noise gone so bad i was thinking of going magnaflow

there is always that, but if you want to do it cheap and just remove some decibles from it, try a cheap summit/jegs glass pack in combo with your current muffler (similar to the resonator/muffler combination on the vettes). It will still have a good sound, but at a largely reduced level. Otherwise, sounds sick dude!
I put a Magnaflow resonator in my I-pipe and it barely made any difference in rasp or sound levels. I'd suggest using something with more baffling like a spiral flow or maybe a power stick. My setup can be heard on LS1sounds here:

I got a dynomax bullet in my i-pipe and it made a noticable difference...but it still screams at WOT. With your beast of a motor..you might have to fill your entire i-pipe with bullets

I had a DynoMax 16" bullet on mine & it helped, but it was still too much during 1/4 to 1/2 throttle acceleration (like onto the freeway). I bought some SLP bullets to put behind the Corsa, but discovered they are only 2.5" so I decided to bag that plan & went with a MagnaFlow instead. That made it nice again. I loved the Corsa at WOT!
