Default oil pressure, temp, and egt senders

I'm hooking up Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, and EGT (all 1/8 NPT). There are a few places to put each sender but I'm only looking for the best places. I'm new to the LS1 so please give me as much info as you can.

Which cylinder for the EGT? Number 7 or 8? Sender needs to be 6-12 inches from the hot cylinder head.
Oil pressure or temp at the oil pan above the filter?
Where would the other go?

I'm thinking oil temp at the oil pan because that's the closest I can get to the crank and bearings. Then oil pressure somewhere else on the block, but where?

Default

the stock oil pressure is on the back of the block on top, behind the intake. if you can get back there, i dont believe that the ecm needs the original signal, so you could just pull that one and put your new sender there too i think.
