just hit 75k miles, on stock belt!
My car hit 75k miles last night, and I have not even changed the stock belt yet!
I'm sure it needs to be changed real shortly, just have the new belt in the garage. I'm seeing signs of detoriation on the ridges inside of the old belt.
Time for a new belt and tires

my car had 73, 74, or 75k miles when i parked it a while back (forgot the exact number)
i pulled the belt off, and it still had plenty of life in it
bought a new one anyway for the hell of it though
I couldnt believe the freaking $40 price tag at NAPA

$40 for a belt ooch ! You can get @Autozone for about $18.00
Jeez I don't know why they're making the LS1 belts expensive.
My bro works at a local auto parts store and when i asked him to get me a new belt for my car, he told me it'd be about $60 bucks for it. The next day he charged me a @cost price of $15 bucks. I think he was looking at a different brand. I would prefer the Daytona belt (that's the stock belt on mine) rather than the **** brand name with "made in North Korea" print on it...
