Aerochamber muffler part number?
I am looking for a Aerochamber muffler to replace the stocker.
There are 2 part numbers....21721 and 21729.
Which one is for a stock replacement?
I spoke to Hooker and they show the 21721 up to year 99 and I have a 2002 Camaro.
He really could not tell me what I needed. Thanks

21721 is what you want for stock replacement. 21729 has larger inlet and outlet pipe diameter. http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=3&pcid=97

i love it i just put it in this yesterday... the sound is quiet in the lower end with a deep tone, the higher up in the rpm band the louder it gets but does not get raspy. i put in in place of the flowmaster muffler that was on my car. i cut the old one right at the end of the welds on the flowmaster. and inserted them in to the hooker one.. then clamped them down with some 2.5" clamps. then i used some car jacks aligned the muffler and tips then tacked it all and welded it all up... i cant wait till i get my headers and ory... i think that it is going to sound great. good luck with your install defiantly recommend this product. the 21729HKR
