Default ls6 intake

I put a ls6 manifold on my car today and there is a pretty decent sucking sound coming from the intake lid. also when i let off the gas crusing down the road after about 10 seconds it starts to surge as if i was tapping the throttle. any ideas?

If it stops when you life the lid up, you may have a vacuum leak where the bellow connects the MAF and TB. Just make sure it is connected well, your best shot is to get carb cleaner and spray around and see where it makes the RPMs jump. That's be the source of your vacuum leak, but it is definitely a vacuum leak. Not a big deal, usually an easy fix. Did you use all new gaskets?
