Default installing msd 2 step on a 2002 m6 trans am..need help

im going to be installing my msd 2 step today. According to the instructions with a manual I should use only the white/blue activation wire and splice it to the clutch switch wire (12 volts)...which wire is that? according to a wiring diagram I have, the clutch switch connector is a 4 wire. (brown/white, pink, gray, black/white)

the brown/white is cpp switch signal
the pink is ignition 1 voltage
the gray is cpp switch signal
the black is ground

so I'm guessing either the brown/white wire or gray???
where is everyone hooking theirs to that have a manual??

actually Shouldn't I splice in at the ppl/wht wire? Cause the DK GRN is hot at all times right?

Where is the clutch pedal start switch connector at? Is it by the clutch pedal???

That's from GM's Service Information. It says Clutch Pedal Position Circuit, then when you click the link it takes you to Clutch Pedal Start Switch.

You would want to splice into the Dark Green Wire. The Purple/White is constant 12v.

The sensor in underneath the dash, where the pedal is.

I got everything working. In the end the wire that needs to be used is the gray wire that is on the 4 wire harness. when the clutch is pressed in, it is 12V. (clutch pedal position switch) The two pin connector is only for start up and only sends voltage when the key is turned all the way in the ignition (starting)

i got tired of trying to figure out which wire on the upper clutch switch so i jumped the lower clutch safety switch harness and ran a wire to a ground from one side of the switch and the trigger to the ground input on the other side of the switch

works great, although now i can start the car without pushing the clutch in

other that figuring out which wire to tap in to, install takes ten minutes

There's a grommet on the passenger side under the PCM.
