Default Solid or prothane motor mounts?

I was thinking the prothane they seem to work good on my suspension and trans. I swear the stock ones let the motor rock about 4-5 in. so i figure before it starts hitting the strut towers i better get new ones!

I put prothane moter mounts in to stop the Y pipe from hitting the floor about 5 years ago no problems here. The solid mounts seem to be hit or miss, some people love them and don't get a lot of vibration and others hate them and swap back to the prothane.

ya i was leaning toward the prothane..plus they are cheaper to buy lol. I have the prothane trans mount and i love how it dampends the vibrations and still gives me a better road feel.

I love my prothane motor mounts. I would never go back to stockers.

I have solids and love them. It just depends on your personal preference. I've had Poly mounts on everything and wanted to try the solids this time and I like them. I could see how some people wouldn't them... there is a noticable increase in vibration inside the car (you can even watch the mirrors vibrate) but in a feel stand point I found them to be more sturdy and more what I was looking for in this build.

Point being you cant go wrong either way... its just up to your personal preference.

smoknss what is the difference between the 3 as in terms of vibration? The main reason i guess i want to get somwthing is when i take off in 1st gear i have a little surge and the loose mounts amplify and make it into 3 surges that end up making me chirp my tires! surge, motor torques then i slide forward and press the pedal even farther and it keeps jerking me back and forth making me do it 2-3 times before i get it moving so i dont stall out ...
