Default Had problems with Pacesetters? Inside please!

It appears TSP sent me the wrong version of the Pacesetter LT headers... I ordered '01-'02 LT headers with AIR provisions, but I got headers with no emissions stuff at all.

My question is for anyone that had to send their headers back to TSP because of being sent the wrong thing... how did you go about getting the right product? Did you have to send the headers back to them first and then had to wait for them to send the right thing? Or did they send the right set out to you right away and then you just exchanged the old set with the new set when the UPS driver arrived? Or was it done a different way?

I'm curious because I want to know how long it would take for me to get the right set of headers that I ordered... Thanks guys!

do a search i know ive had issues and posted on a few boards about mine but its all fixed now after 2 months lol...i know another guy just had a problem within the past 2-3 days but he got emissions and didnt want them so he blocked them off. That seems to be one of the few problems is their understanding of what year get what stuff...pacesetter not tsp.

As far as i Know you can disconnect the AIR without triggering a code. Cleans up the engine bay too. If thats the case, just keep them. (exactly what my buddy did on his 02 SS)

I was sent the race version also but oh well I just left of the air tubes and so far no codes. As far as the headers they are great but the y pipe could use some improving

Yeah, I thought about doing that... from what I hear, you can disconnect the hoses and let the AIR pump just activate on start up, basically pumping into nothing, and it won't hurt anything... so not a big deal. I would like to keep the codes intact and not delete any of them, since that will probably feed back a "system not ready" message if I go for an emissions OBDII test.

But at the same time, I would like to get the item I actually ordered just on principle if nothing else.

Ya they are great headers but like I said before the Y pipe sucks. I worked on it a bit more and it's ok now (until the first time I hammer down on it) lol
