The LM will give the best performance since it's basicaly a 3 inch straight pipe. Other than that, each one will sound a little different, so it just comes down to your tastes. I would get the LM if you plan to keep your cats. Headers won't make any difference, contrary to popular belief. It's just that many people remove their cats when they put headers on, and attribute the noise to the headers when they should have blamed the lack of cats.

Thats not true, at least not for me. When I put my jet hots on, i had a custom catted y put on, and kept my loud mouth. It was MUUUUUCH louder, and raspy as hell.

The LM will prob. out preform the others but the LM has a much different sound then those catbacks, its much more raspier and nasty. I love my LM but IMO I would go with GMMG, it's def. more pricey but very high quality and also flows with the best of them. Good Luck

Hmmm, just food for thought but I have seen the GMMG Vs open cutout and there was absolutely NO difference in horsepower. This was on a heads/cam car. Honestly, the LM sounds like *** to me...

Of course he's unbiased, just like everyone else on here.
I'll throw in another endorsement for the GMMG.

I have love for the Borla. I have had Borla on 2 different F-body's. I like Borla the best because you already have a cut-out built in and you can adjust the loudness if you want to. If you want the best flow I would choose Borla. I don't see how the other two systems could flow better because they don't have a cut-out in them. That is just my 2 cents.

Absolutely I have always thought the LM sounded like ***, and yes I have seen the GMMG not gain one single rwhp with a cutout installed. BTW, Ill throw in the fact GMMG has free shipping and is made of 100% stainless steel.

My opinion, for what is is worth - much based upon actual exprience.

LM - stock car - sounds pretty mean
LM - header car w/ cats - getting a little loud
LM - header car w/o cats - YUCK
LM - header car w/o cats including heads and cam - repulsive, not even a nice sound. JUST GROSS NOISE
LM - header car w/ cats including heads and cam - still just annoying, almost as bad as a fart pipe . . . .

Borla - sorry I just absolutely hate the way it looks. The tail pipes have always been just gaudy (sorry)

GMMG - stock car, sounds good, and a true muscle car sound
GMMG - headers, heads, cam and cats - pure sweet music.

Believe it or not the oval tips change the sound of the GMMG too.

I experienced the same thing with my cme tips and my gmmg. Sounds great but different than with out them.

I would get a gmmg. My best mod I have done!!

I had the LM previously, now I have GMMG.

GMMG sounds better; less interior resonance, higher quality sound. Didn't notice any loss of power with it over the LM.
