Has anyone ever tried a borlamouth like this?
I was just thinking, has anyone turned their loudmouth into something more like the real borla system and tried leaving the loudmouth resonator where it is and adding an XR1 bullet or XR1 offset oval muffler below the gas tank on the pipe that goes to the driver's side?
I think it'd be a cool idea

Well I was looking at the XR1 and no bullets are available with 2.5" in/out that would be needed for the piece of pipe that runs to the drivers side exit but they do have the borla stinger that would be perfect there. Part #40842S, too bad it's like $150! That would be an expensive mod to only cover half the exhaust exiting.

Yes. I have done what was mentioned. But I didn't pay $150 for the muffler. My brother did. It was off his GTP that had burned. I was trying to get rid of the rasp with something I had laying around. Trust me, it didn't change the sound. I ended up making a whole new exhaust. Sounds much better now.
