I haven't touched my cars in months LOL.

I have been busy with the Holley EFI.

I have run the Abaco on my 2010 Camaro with the LS3 then the LSA engines.

I have also had some issues regarding heat in the boards. From what I have heard there have been problems in high heat appications. As in many electronic components you have a small percentage of failures.
In my situation I had the meter resting on the upper radiator hose. The heat absorbed ( I assume) seemed to give the meter fits.
Abaco replaced the meter with one that had an revised board.

I have not had any problems since that time.

The car ran 10.33 and 10.34 in the fall.

Robin

Started reading this thread while researching whether or not to pull the trigger on this MAF for my 02 corvette. As I need a new MAF anyway (damaged the stock one) The stock engine with only the Vortech installed was dynoed at 500 HP/460TQ at 6 lbs of boost. The engine it will be mated to is a 02 LS1 with the following upgrades on the engine:

Vortech V-2 @ 8 lbs of boost
meth injection
Diamond 3.905" X 3.622" -8.6cc,
6.125" Callies rods
Custom grind LSX Blower Cam
PAC 1218 springs retainers etc.

My tuner recommended the MAF so I will be going with it. I am posting this for information purposes only and will provide feedback in a week or two on how things go.

Any more updates? My current maf and lid is a restriction and I want to upgrade plus filter out some of the noise. What airlid would be be for this maf? Id probably get the 85mm version. I have a NW 92 TB on my LS3 intake (built LS3 engine) in my 2001 fbody.

We will be tuning the car this weekend. I went with the 97mm for two reasons. I will never max out the airflow and it is a 4" opening and went with 4" piping when I rebuilt the engine for forced induction. I will post tuning experience and impressions later this weekend.

You might max out a 85mm GM MAF with your combo or be damn close.

There are two "ceilings", the 511g/sec and the 12kHz. The stock 75mm "Oreo"
MAF hits both simultaneously. The 85mm MAFs hit the 12kHz limit around 459
g/sec despite being bigger. I've hogged one out to get the 511g/sec and 12kHz
to coincide again but it made the low end readings very unstable (the vane had
to go, and evidently that helps stability I guess).

The point of the Abaco appears to be that you can program its transfer
function. Which would be swell if you had real airflow data to fit against.
Or even better just get one that's programmed to a known good cal with
the upper two limits where they belong for our PCMs. This, I don't know
if they provide. Worth asking.
