Default rear main seal

what do i need besides time and patience to replace the main seal on 99 TA?
can it be done alone? or will i need an extra hand?

any suggestions would be great...

If you have a good transmission jack you can do it yourself, otherwise IMO you'll need a extra set of hands.
I did mine by myself with a trans jack and it wasn't to bad at all, and it was the first time I pulled a transmission.
If you can get a 24" wobble 3/8" dr. ratchet extension that help with a few of the upper trans mount bolts. And while the trans is out a I would go ahead and change the pilot bearing and slave cylinder as a Preventive Measure.
