Help with Idle & RPM Issue !! Hey guyz ....
99 camaro ls1 ... issue's with the car mosly when idle where sometime's rpm drops from 800-450 & comes back up & down ...... even when driving & shift to Neutral .... still the same issue rpm goes from 800-450 & wont stop playing around ....
I hv been told to change the INTAKE Filter !!!
Some Say Its the MSD Wire's .... cleaned the Injector's through the tank fluid thing Caltex Power Cleaner .... still no change ... going to change the plugs soon to find out ....
removed 1 spark plug ( first plug to the radiator drivers side ) ... it was white .... garage said petrol is not reaching the plug or something !!!!!!!

I had my car tuned before with EGR Canceled & stuff ..... the service engine light came out with my oil lever dropping to after 1/4 of the gauge .... OIL FILTER Issue I Figure .... but the rpm issue has been there long scince 3 engine's swaps !!!!! Had the maf sensor changed few months ago ..... Friend of mine say's its the MSD wire's ..... where he had this issue with them installed .... !!

couldt be anything lol start with easiest and cheapest check the filter then wires but it sounds like maf coz plugs or wires would make it run rough not rpm goes down i think...gd luck

Verdad Gallardo Oscillating idle wont be from plugs or wires. Sounds like an ECU parameter is seeing a bad signal. TPS/MAF/MAP being possible culprits. No vaccume leaks? I take it you dont have access to logging software?

Im gonna start with plugs, IAC, MAF !!
