Default 160 Thermostat

Has anyone checked the true temperature that the Hypertech 160 thermostat produces on the tech2 or any other diagnosis aid? Just wondering how close it is.

If i remember correctly mine read 170-172 the day that I checked mine. Drove it a bit and let it sit and idle for about 5 minutes then checked it.

Mine holds between 172 (lots of airflow, low engine load)
to 177 (high load).
