much to my disappointment, the ones with the welded collector come with the air/erg fittings welded to the headers. I didnt figure this would be the case, since they were called "race headers"

The LS1 stepped Edelbrocks I bought (slip on collector) were the EXACT same design as the Hooker LTs I took off only with a step design and the different collectors. Header tube routing was identical. The headers should fit any F-body LS motor depending on your emmissions hookups if you still have them. I like mine so much I just bought a set for my 96 WS6, I'm curious how the look compared to Hookers as well. If you get the slip on style collector definitely have them welded, mine leak like a motha. Good luck,

Larry

yea i think the only difference is they dont have egr hookup, unless you get emissions checked id take it out, its worthless besides emissions... or your other option is to weld on the egr fittings, im sure you could find them somewhere...

Pics of the welded set. All in all not bad for the money. Included gaskets and 02 extensions. I noticed it had a fitting for EGR, so these should work for 98 and 99 models too. The only thing I saw I didn't like was the dent in the collector, and I can fix that.

40.00 dollars. I didn't think that was a bad price considering they came from California and I'm clear across the country in Delaware.

Guys, if anyone is interested in getting some stainless headers then just go into an Advance Auto Parts store (or any parts house that has the edelbrock part line) and find the store manager. Ask him if he'll give you 20% off. Chances are, especially if they're strugling to make their budget, they'll jump on it.

The 2 pipes are just extensions if you are building your own Y-pipe or running open headers and want some extra piping. 3.5" band clamps for those, I think the Y-pipe (if you get it) comes with clamps. I can't remember.
