I want to hear your car in the spring without cats then maybe I'll get the GMMG. Then we can video our street racing and see what people think and say then.

The oval tips look so awesome on a trans-am because they fit the openings perfect on a trans-am if you go to gmmgs website they have pictures of the back end of a trans-am with those tips, i think they are worth the money to buy them i love mine on my camaro

Those of you with the GMMG and longtubes, how much attention do you get in your neighborhoods? Good and bad? What about attention on the streets as far as cops go? Getting the GMMG exhaust and FLP's this Jan.

Here are a couple of clips of my GMMG w/SLP LTs, Cats. The first is before the H/C install, the second after. These clips are marginal as my camcorder takes sh*tty mpegs and I don't have a video capture card yet. Anyway, enjoy...

GMMG before H/C

GMMG after H/C

I am using "blue streak" bullets, toned down a bit from Dynomax bullets, but I really dont care for the whole ground scraping on speed bumps, and stuff. I am wanting to go back to a Header back exhaust, with maybe dual CO's. That will allow me to open the exhale side up when I do race. I do like the sound and performance of the Borla XS mufflers, they actually fit better then the bullets, so thats an option as well.

Hey guys, check out the sponsors/GP section. LS1Tech has organized a holiday special with GMMG!!! Almost 100 dollars off the full system.

BTW, sickfive55, I think GMMG does sound better than duals. I had a Dr Gas X pipe and bullits for 6 months. As Cat3 said, I hated the scraping and all the other problems that went along with duals. Im much happier with my chambered system.

True duals sound good, but they're just too obnoxious in my opinion. The GMMG has a nice, tuned sound to it!

Thanks for the compliments!

I rarely issue citations...only when absolutely necessary (and never for emissions violations ) ...Traffic enforcement is not one of the reasons I got into Law Enforcement, it's just a necessary evil that comes with the job!

No regrets here, other than GMMG never sent the tips I paid for until after I hassled them about it, so I have had the regular tips, and ovals in a box for the last couple years. I actually like the look of the standard tips now, and don't feel like changing. Unless someone wanted to pay a premium for them <grin>, they might be for sale. Anyway, I thought this comment was funny, my wife the other day, after I have had the exhaust on the car for a couple years comments, I like the car, "but I just don't like that noise you put in there". That's just too funny, ignorance is a bliss they say. I just don't like that noise you put in there. I wish had more of that NOISE, as I still have stock manifolds and cats.
