Yes, that is what came in my kit. I hope I can get them tight enough so they don't leak. Got a new Air compressor for x-mas so will try with it before buying new clamps.

That is the style clamp you need for pipes with the slits in them. Tighten the **** out of it. It will not loose its form the way the wide thin band clamps will.

Thanks for the pic. My system doesn't have the slots in it and after finally getting everything finished up I only see two clamps that need extra tightening. So don't think I will be needing the accuseal clamps.

Default LPP LTs and TD installed. Pics & Video

Ok. Finally finished with the install. Very nice fitment, other than the driver's side header. But no big deal to make fit. The TDs fit nice and tight and give good ground clearance. Here are some pics of the install and a video clip. Not the greatest video clip however. Will do a walk around and all later but first have to get a new Alternator. Mine finally took a crap during the install. Original with 122,000 miles. Not to bad! Will be happy to answer any questions.

weird, my headers from LPP have the SSAUTOCHROME logo on the side of the primary, not the LPP logo...

any chance on being able tto take a picture of what modification had to be done to get them to fit? (grinding the Kmember and Motor mount)

check out my pics of my LPP and what I had to grind, it show the K member, engine block tab and where it sits on the motor mount. I went a little overboard on the motor mount tab on mine. I have Poly motor motor tranny and torque arm mounts..

You can see where I marked the flange of the K-member to be grinded down, however I ended up taken more than that off. Some may take off more or less.

[IMG][/IMG]

Here is the same area after the install. There is a little more clearance that what it looks like. Just the best angle I could get.

Here is where I marked the Motor mount for grinding.

Here is the Motor mount with header installed. Once again there is more clearance that what it looks like. But not much. Poly Motor mounts saved my life with these guys.

They have a very smooth, deep tone to them. So far I am liking them, but haven't driven it yet. I am going to give it a try tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

They really should have put the flat spots in the driver side like their y pipe. It doesnt hurt power at all but helps ground clearance alot.

So do you think it will be a problem with stock mounts?

I know what you mean about weather. It was been terrible around here.

It could be, but just take more material out of the mount than I did. I just knew that I could get away with a smaller tolerance cause of the poly mounts. The metal on the mount pedistal is pretty thick and strong and unless you are making alot of power it shouldn't be an issue, I wouldn't think.

Yeah and it doesn't look like the weather is going to be getting any better any time soon as far a temps. go. Down around zero later this week. Well I am going to try and take her for a spin after work and see how it feels, will post up results.

Where did you get your Poly mounts? How did you put them in? Support the motor from the bottom or use a picker from the top?

Do the headers come gaskets?

What bolts did you use on the headers?

I'm pretty sure those and the ebay true duals are all the same, I can't tell the difference.

Bought the Prothane Motor mounts from a BIG online company. Don't think they are a sponsor so can't say their name ,about $60 shipped. PM me if you can't figure it out. I supported the motor from the bottom with Jack and 2x4. Did the mounts one at a time and I didn't have to jack the motor up very high to pull the clamshells out, probably about 1" or so.

No the headers didn't come with gaskets, just reused the stock GM ones I already had.

Went to a couple of GM dealers to get the headers bolts, The first dealer didn't have enough. Not sure of the part number.
