I plan on doing the heads down the road, how much will the fast setup help with heads?

Yep, still on stock suspension and rear. I am not quite sure if its worth it to invest in a throttle body for the BBK and also a MAF.

Im glad I didnt order a FAST yet, still undecided on what to get. I just took it off the car too. If I do keep it, it only takes 30 minutes to put back on

Had problems with the bottom plate leaking so just welded it on. MY Tb from BBK was also hanging until i found out the idle screw was backed out too much when i hooked it up to a scanner.

Thanks for the info, I have decided to keep the BBK, trying to get a BBK 85mm TB used if I find one. I just found a 85mm MAF with pigtail for $50 so not too shabby.

yeah! just read through this thread and was going to put in my .02 about the amount of money vs. power. i think they're overly priced and should be a last mod in the name of 'i can get a little more here' . not to mention pulling an intake isnt a hard job when it boils down to it. doing a cam or heads is when the jobs a job. i say there's tons of other mods around the fast.

Thanks for all the help guys, I am keeping the BBK setup $325, should have $700 into it with a BBK 85mm $300 and $50 Delphi 85mm MAF. I will post up my cam only numbers in the spring when I have it installed. Hopefully over 400 rwhp.

cool

you should be able to get your goal with the manual tranny

I would keep an eye out though, when I was looking for my 90mm tb I kept finding used 85mm on here for well under $200

I would talk to your tuner about the MAF before you get one, some tuners seem to hate trying to tune on aftermarket MAF sensors from what I've read on here, not to mention a great number of respected minds on this site don't believe that upgrade is necessary or even helpful until past the 500rwhp mark, but if you can get one for $50 and your tuner says its good to go then I would go ahead and get one
