cat ??????s so i got a ticket the other night for excessive exhaust. i currently have pacesetter lts, ORY, and slp LM catback.
i am going to put a cat in but not sure which one. i was looking at the slp high flow cats but i only want one and i want it to be after the y pipe but before the slp can. Is it ok to have the cat right before the muffler?

I'm guessing you got a ticket for a loud pipe, not excessive exhaust. Anything in the path of flow will calm it down even a simple bend. Get a bullet or a cat and put it somewhere inline.
well i really just want it to pass emmisions and that the fact that it is a federal offense to not have them. i love the way it is right now but iff i put a cat there will it quiet it a little.
