Talking Can you modify the ls6 intake to accept egr?

I wanted to know if you could modify the ls6 intake to accept the egr hookup? I know that slp offers one that has it but they want $459 for it. Texas speed and preformance has the normal ls6 intake on a special for $350. I could save a lot if anyone knows a way to modify it?

I dont want to do that because then I am going to have to put block off plates on my kooks headers. It looks jerry rigged with those plates on them.

Why not cut the air tubes and egr tube off of the headers and have the holes welded and plugged? That little adapter is 150 bucks! You can get a short throw shifter for that much! Or maybe a decent custom y-pipe!
