Well I finally got all my exhaust put together with the 3" X-pipe and 2 of the shorter dynomax bullets. I went to the dyno yesterday right after I got out of the muffler shop and here's what I saw! The red graph is before with all the mods in my sig except the exhaust. I had stock manifolds, stock y, cats, and hooker catback. More than I expected. This is with ZERO tuning.

The reason you picked up so much power is because the 98-00 ls1's had more restricted exhaust manifolds on them than the 01-02 ls1's. 98-00 ls1's always pick up more power with Lt's than the 01-02 ls1's.

I just put my pacesetter headers on and it really wasn't that hard. I removed both coil packs to make it easier to get to the bolts and had to jack up the driver side of the motor but didn't have to remove the motor mount bolts all of the way they were only $330 for ceramic coated. I think the are well worth the money and I hope I can gain around 30 hp with them and GMMG exhaust

yeah, i snapped my aluminum driveshaft last night grabbing 2nd. I was having a really good day until that. I dont know why that happened, but I got a new one, and ill be back on the road in a couple days. My car pulls nice and hard now. If I'm mean to it, I wont start hookin up til 4th gear on Eagle F1's. It's fun.

The sound inside the car isnt as bad as I expected it to be. Instead of having the tips turned straight down, I had them turned out at a 45 degree angle to the ground so its not so bad.
